Grandparents Day has been celebrated in the USA and UK since 1978. The official commemorative day is the Sunday after Labor Day. It is officially recognized in several countries. Some countries recognize Grandmother’s Day and Grandfather’s Day on different dates. The flower of the U.S. National Grandparents Day is the Forget-Me-Not which blooms in the spring.
As a result, seasonal flowers are given in appreciation to grandparents on this day. If any grandparents of FCS Elementary Students are free and available this Friday, you are all welcome to attend a special Chapel with your elementary grandchildren.
Chapel times are as follows:
1st – 3rd Grade at 9:00am
