During his time at the University of Arkansas, he began a campus outreach ministry that eventually led to the Rodger’s Baptist Church Mission. Out of this mission came Mission Boulevard Baptist Church in 1975 and Bro. Brian was the pastor. In 1976, plans began for the families of Mission Blvd. Baptist church to start a collective homeschool so that they could teach their children the Bible as well as academic courses. All the teachers agreed at that time to be volunteers in an effort to keep the cost of the school affordable. In 1978, Mission Blvd. Christian School began. Today that same school is now Fayetteville Christian School. Bro. Brian has volunteered his time over the years as an instructor, coach, and mentor.
